Powerfully, richly dark purple in appearance with a smooth and satisfying mouthfeel, Oregon Fruit Blackberry Puree is no shrinking violet. The nose features aromas of plummy sweet fruit with an underlying summer earthiness. This puree’s dark, jammy berry juiciness will impress.
Seedless Blackberry Puree is prepared from ripened, washed and sorted marionberry and blackberry varieties. The product contains no preservatives and no additives.
Purees are great for fruit-infused mead, beer, and ciders. Add directly to the primary or secondary but never boil the fruit. Use a single 49 oz pouch for slight flavor in 5 gallons of beer or mead for slight flavor and aroma. Use two pouches for a more pronounced flavor.
Established in 1935 and located in Oregon's Willamette Valley, this fruit is some of the most delicious in the world. Oregon Fruit Purees contain no seeds and have been commercially sterilized. The fruit can be used directly from the can and should never be boiled.
